How often do we feel comfortable in our life. We knew Christ as our Lord, we go to church. We go to bible study. We earned the right to be comfortable.
Remember the disciples. They were true followers of the way. Remember when they were in the boat. Remember the storm. Couldn’t Jesus have made their passage smooth sailing. No. Jesus wanted them to be uncomfortable.
When we are comfortable we set down and not move with urgency. Like watching your team once ahead start to play not to lose not to win.
If you are comfortable, look around you are not doing what you are here to do. Take up your cross and follow the way.
