Have you ever watched the water in the tub after a bath. The dirt kinda flows around not paying attention to what all is going on. It keeps going around it gets closer and closer to the drain. The closer it becomes the faster it gets pulled into the drain.
Our lives are a lot like that. If we don’t take care to watch our hearts and minds we tend to flow away from God. The further we grow away the more the pull takes us drawing us to the drain, until we fall down drowning in dispute lies abuse, the feel that God has left us when we have floated away from Him.
It’s not to late. Stop floating around and mind your soul, and do as Peter did as he was falling under the waves and turn to Jesus and call out to home. We were not made to be thrown down the drain.
