When we take time to praise God for the things He has done for us and given to us, God’s power changes our lives. The storm clouds of life in all their many forms that have a tendency to block out the sunshine of the love of God, give Him praise and glory anyway. When doubt threatens to draw our attention away from our faith in God’s goodness, let’s turn our gaze to Jesus. When life is rocking us, and we feel seasick, it is important to offer praise and thanksgiving to God from the depths of our hearts. It may feel like God is not giving us anything to
praise Him for, but He is greater than any problem we face. Focusing on God’s character will help us rise above all destructive influences in our lives. Praise Him in all things, and we will see the strength He gives us to persevere. Focus on the good of God. Stop trying to fix it yourself and fix your eyes on God. When we focus on God and how good God is, all bad things disappear.
