Romans 10:9-10: “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation…“HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!” Without a vision from the Holy Spirit, and without holiness of mind, spirit and actions, no one has ever done anything to glorify God because. On our own, we cannot fathom how mighty and good and glorious is our heavenly Father. In kingdom work, we must experience trembling before Him, so that our own concepts and feelings of being self-sufficient will overtake our intentions to give to God and to others in service in Jesus’s name. Have we lost the sense of awe due to being in the very presence of God in our sanctuary and in our lives? We read the works of the saints before us, and they never neglect to give all the glory to God and to take none for themselves. As the saints of the church in today’s world, we must be careful not to usurp that which belongs to God. As the Information Era our culture in time has come to be called, we are full of anxiety because we know so much about the human body and mind that our forebears were still struggling to understand. But with that comes a certain arrogance that we must continually fight against if we wish to honor God.
